Abstract

A permanent waving composition showing excellent waving properties and, at the same time, a hair conditioning effect contains PA1 a) at least one reducing organic thio compound and (or) an inorganic sulfite; and PA1 b) at least one organopolysiloxane, whereby at least one silicium atom is linked to an alkylene group containing a hetero atom, particularly a nitrogen atom, together with a poly-(N-acyl alkylene imine) with units of the formula ##STR1## wherein n is a number from 1 to 5 and R is hydrogen, a C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or aryl group.
