Abstract
A toner for developing an electrostatic latent image, including toner particles having an average surface roughness of at least 0.86, wherein the average surface roughness is an average of SF1 of respective toner particles, where SF1 is defined as follows: EQU SF1=Le/Ip wherein Le and Lp represent the length of the minimum envelope line and the peripheral length of each toner particle, respectively.
