C., blended with a homopolyamide, and wherein the copolyamide is formed from at least one cycloaliphatic diamine with two cyclohexane rings, and at least one aromatic dicarboxylic acid which is predominantly isophthalic acid. The copolyamide may optionally contain up to 20 mol % of a further polyamide forming monomer of at least one lactam or an omega-aminocarboxylic acid. The homopolyamide is preferably one of PA6, PA11, PA12, PA66, PA69, PA610 or PA612. The cycloaliphatic diamine of the copolyamide is preferably bis(3-methyl-4-aminocyclohexyl)-methane.
