Abstract

Iminooxybenzylcrotonate esters of the formula I ##STR1## where the index and the substituents have the following meanings: n is 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4; PA1 R is nitro, cyano, halogen, PA1 unsubst. or subst. alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkoxy, alkenyloxy, alkynyloxy or PA1 in the case where n is 2, additionally an unsubst. or subst. bridge bonded to two adjacent ring atoms; PA1 R.sup.1 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl; PA1 R.sup.2 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl; PA1 R.sup.3 is hydrogen, cyano, halogen, alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxy, haloalkoxy, alkylthio, haloalkylthio or cycloalkyl; PA1 R.sup.4 is a 5 to 10-membered mono- or bicyclic, substituted heteroaromatic ring system, processes for their preparation and their use are described.
