Abstract
Novel polymer-associated liposomes (PALs) containing a liposome, and a polymer having a plurality of acid moieties, like sulfonic acid moieties, carboxyl moieties, or phosphonic acid moieties, in a salt form are disclosed. Drug compositions containing a and a drug are administered to individuals suffering from a disease, and the drug is released, in vivo, to treat the disease, and to reduce, eliminate, or reverse complications associated with the disease.
