Abstract

Water-soluble perylene dyestuffs, their preparation and their use The present Application relates to water-soluble perylene dyestuffs of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 independently of one another are the radicals A--X--COOM or A--X--SO.sub.3 M; PA1 R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 independently of one another are the radicals R.sup.1 or R.sup.2, or are OR.sup.5 or NR.sup.6 R.sup.7 ; PA1 A is NR.sup.8 or S; PA1 X is a straight-chain or branched alkylene radical, a straight-chain or branched alkylene radical which is substituted by hydroxyl, carboxyl or amino, an arylene radical or an arylene radical which is optionally substituted by hydroxyl, carboxyl or sulfo; PA1 R.sup.5, R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 independently of one another are hydrogen, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)-alkyl or (C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)-alkyl which is substitituted by one or more hydroxyl, 2-hydroxyethoxy, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)-alkoxy or amino groups; PA1 R.sup.8 is hydrogen, methyl or ethyl and PA1 M is a monovalent cation or one equivalent of a polyvalent cation, processes for their preparation, their use for dyeing and printing naturally occurring and synthetic fiber materials, and recording liquids, in particular for the ink-jet…
