Abstract
An ethylene/polyalkyleneglycol(ether) (meth)acrylic ester copolymer and a nonporous breathable film obtained therefrom are provided, the polymer comprising the following monomer units: PA1 (i) from 99 to 50% by weight ethylene; PA1 (ii) from 1 to 50% by weight of a monomer of formula I EQU CH.sub.2 .dbd.C(R.sub.1)--COO--C.sub.m H.sub.2m --O!.sub.n --H(I) PA1 in which R1 is H or CH.sub.3, m is 2, 3 or 4; n is comprised between 2 and 25; and PA1 (iii) from 0 to 20% by weight of a third monomer; PA2 said copolymer having a mean molecular weight comprised between 5,000 and 65,000.
