Abstract
An intercalation compound of general formula Na.sub.x K.sub.1-X Z.sub.y, wherein Z is a carbon or a polymer with a cyclic, particularly aromatic unit, as base unit; 0<x<1; and 2.ltoreq.y.ltoreq.6. A method for preparing the compound is also described, as well as the use thereof, particularly in pyrotechnics and in lithium batteries.
