The present invention relates to novel acylated 5-aminoisothiazoles of the formula (I) ##STR1## in which R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and Y have the meaning given in the description, processes for their preparation and their use for controlling animal pests.
