Abstract

An isolated and purified nucleic acid comprising: PA1 a nucleotide sequence which has at least 50% sequence identity, with any of the nucleotide sequences coding for polypeptides containing in their pepridic chains: PA2 the amino acid sequence of 311 amino acids of FIGS. 2 or 3, PA2 or a fragment of this sequence being such that it is able to produce antibodies capable of forming a complex with the amino acid sequence of FIG. 2 or 3, PA2 or an amino acid sequence having a percentage of homology of at least 50%, with the amino acid sequence of FIG. 2 or 3, PA2 or a sequence able to form a complex with antibodies raised against the amino acid sequence of FIG. 2 or 3, PA2 or against pep1(m) or pep1(h) PA2 or against pep2(m) or pep2(h) PA2 or against pep3(m) or pep3(h) PA1 a nucleotide sequence which hybridizes with nucleotide sequence coding for said polypeptides, PA2 or the above-indicated nucleotide sequences wherein T is replaced by U, PA2 or the complementary sequences of the above-mentioned nucleotide sequences and vectors containing necessary elements to promote the expression in a cellular host of polypeptides coated by nucleic acids thereof.
