Abstract

A process for producing a (meth)acrylate derivative including reacting a compound of formula (1) (wherein R.sup.1 is H or CH.sub.3 ; A is C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 alkylene; and p is 1 to 10) with a chloro-dioxaphosphorus compound of formula (2) (wherein q is 0 or 1) in the presence of a secondary amine of formula (3) (wherein R.sup.2 and R.sub.3 are each C.sub.3 -C.sub.8 alkyl, cycloalkyl, C.sub.6 -C.sub.9 aryl, arylalkyl, etc.) to produce a (meth)acrylate derivative of formula (4) and further reacting the same with a tertiary amine of formula (5) (wherein R.sup.4, R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 are each C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl etc.) to provide a (meth)acrylate derivative of formula (6). ##STR1##
