Abstract
A set of golf clubs which utilizes progressively longer hosel lengths for the purpose of enlarging the main body of the clubhead and/or redistributing weight within the main body of the clubhead. The hosel length progresses from a very short hosel (1 3/8") on the lowest lofted iron, (the number 1 iron), to a conventional length hosel (25/8") on the sand wedge. By reducing the length of the hosel, weight is made available that can be used to enlarge the size of the clubhead and/or redistribute weight within the main body of the clubhead.
