Abstract

A color photographic silver halide material, at least 95 mol. % of the silver halides of which consist of silver chloride, the blue-sensitive layer of which is spectrally sensitised with a dye of the formula I, ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 means 2-thienyl or 3-thienyl and PA1 Z means --O-- or --S-- and PA1 R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and X have the meaning stated in the description, PA1 and which contains a yellow coupler of the formula II ##STR2## in which R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5, Z.sub.1, Z.sub.2 and m have the meaning stated in the description, is distinguished by elevated sensitivity, low yellow fog and low secondary absorption of the yellow dye.
