Abstract
A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material has at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer on a support, wherein a light-sensitive silver halide emulsion in the emulsion layer contains a compound represented by formula (I) below and a compound represented by formula (II) below. ##STR1## In formula (I), each of R.sub.1 to R.sub.3 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, or an aryl group. ##STR2## In formula (II), R represents a specific alkyl group, each of L.sub.1 and L.sub.2 represents a methine group, p.sub.1 represents 0 or 1, Z.sub.1 represents atoms required to form a 5- or 6-membered nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring, M.sub.1 represents a charge-balancing counter ion, m.sub.1 represents a number from 0 to 10 required to neutralize electric charge of a molecule, and Q represents a methine group or a polymethine group substituted by a heterocyclic group or an aromatic group.
