Abstract

The new photochromic compounds according to the invention, of the spiro[indoline-[2,3']-benzoxazine] type, include at least one electron-withdrawing group attached to the benzoxazine structure in 5' or 6' position by a chain containing at least one ethylenic double bond. Application to ophthalmic optics.
