Abstract
Aluminum brazing alloy composition is (in wt. %): Mn 0.7-1.5, Cu 0.5-1.0, Fe not more than 0.4, Si not more than 0.15, Mg up to 0.8, V and/or Cr up to 0.3, Ti up to 0.1, others up to 0.05 each, 0.15 total, balance A1 of at least commercial purity. Improved properties include: post-brazed strength and sag resistance; corrosion resistance; ability to withstand interannealing and some homogenization.
