Abstract
The present invention relates to a new process for the preparation of substituted aryllactic acid-containing cyclodepsipeptides having 24 ring atoms of the formula (I): ##STR1## in which R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 have the meaning given in the description, PA1 with the aid of fungal strains of the species Agonomycetales or enzymatic preparations isolated therefrom.
