Abstract
A thermal recording element consisting of a support having thereon a recording layer comprising hollow spherical beads dispersed in a hydrophilic binder, the beads having a mean diameter of about 0.2 .mu.m to about 1.5 .mu.m and a void volume of about 40% to about 90%.
