Abstract
The invention relates to a method of cleaning a filtration installation of the type including a plurality of immersed membranes in at least one tank containing an effluent to be filtered, said method being characterised in that it includes the steps consisting of: PA0 at least partially draining the effluent contained in said tank in a way that exposes said membranes to the air; PA0 causing at least one cleaning solution to pass through said membranes along a flow path opposite to the filtration flow of the effluent by feeding in said cleaning solution from the permeate side of said membranes.
