Abstract

Silver halide photographic element comprising a support bearing a light sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and a cyclic azole dye forming coupler associated with a stabilizer combination comprising: PA1 i) a compound having the following Formula S: ##STR1## and ii) a compound having the following Formula I: ##STR2## wherein: R.sub.3 represents an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; PA2 Z.sub.1 and Z.sub.2 each represent an alkylene group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms provided that the total number of carbon atoms in the ring is 3 to 6; PA2 n is an integer of 1 or 2; PA2 L represents a divalent linking group; PA2 R.sub.4 represents an alkyl, alkenyl or aryl group; PA2 w represents an integrer of 1 to 5; PA2 y represents 0 or 1 provided that if w is more than 1, then the --L.sub.y R.sub.4 groups may be the same or different, and two --L.sub.y R.sub.4 groups may be joined to form a ring; and that the total number of carbon atoms in --L.sub.y R.sub.4 is at least 8.
