Abstract
A thiophene derivative containing a phenylamidino group represented by the general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are the same or different from each other and are hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an alkoxyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof. The compound is useful for the treatment of inflammatory diseases.
