Abstract
A process for the preparation of a compound of formula I, ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are independently C.sub.1-6 alkyl, R.sup.3 is hydroxy and R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are independently C.sub.1-6 alkyl is disclosed. The process comprises reacting a compound of formula II, ##STR2## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are defined as in formula I and X is a leaving group, with a compound of formula III, ##STR3## wherein R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are independently C.sub.1-6 alkyl, in the presence of a base.
