Abstract
A pH adjustor for drinks comprising a potassium salt as an active ingredient wherein said potassium salt comprises an effective amount for adjusting pH of at least two members selected from the group consisting of potassium carbonate, dipotassium hydrogenphosphate and potassium hydroxide, whereby the pH adjustor is capable of suppressing the deterioration of aroma and/or taste due to lowering of pH by retort sterilization.
