Abstract
A plasticized polyvinylchloride (PVC) substrate coated with a plasticizer-resistant pressure-sensitive adhesive comprising a plasticized PVC substrate on which is deposited an adhesive acrylic PSA polymerized in the presence of a chain transfer agent, comprising about 50 to about 99.8% C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 alkyl acrylate monomer, 0 to about 40% vinyl unsaturated monomer, 0.1 to about 10% carboxylic acid functionalized monomer, 0 to about 10% hydroxyl functionalized monomer and about 0.1 to about 10% internal crosslinking monomer wherein the PSA has a glass transition temperature, T.sub.g, of less than -10.degree. C. and greater than about -45.degree. C. and wherein said substrate retains at least 40% peel adhesion and 50% shear strength after heat aging.
