Abstract
This invention relates to a photographic element comprising a silver halide emulsion layer having associated therewith a yellow dye-forming coupler which is an acylacetanilide compound comprising an alkoxy or aryloxy substituent ortho to the nitrogen atom on the acetanilide ring said ring further comprising a substituent containing a chroman ether group.
