Abstract
The present invention provides methods for genetically modifying plants to increase the levels of essential amino acids in seed. The present methods involve a combination of: PA1 a) providing an increased reservoir or source of a target amino acid population in vegetative tissue; with PA1 b) a complementary protein sink.
