Abstract

The invention proposes a way to generally prevent or at least severely limit the secretion of proteins, particularly the secretion of enzymes from leucocytes. By administering an agent containing one or more active ingredients selected from the group consisting of angiogenine, .alpha..sub.1 -microglobulin, complement factor D, fragments or peptides with the biologically effective sequential ranges of these peptides, and peptidomimetica to the source of secretion the secretion can be prevented or at least drastically limited.
