Abstract

The invention relates to new N-cyanoaryl-nitrogen hetero-cycles of the general formula (I) ##STR1## in which R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and Z have the meanings given in the description, PA1 to a plurality of processes for their preparation, to their use as herbicides and to novel intermediates.
