Abstract
There is provided pharmaceutically useful compounds of formula I, ##STR1## wherein Ar.sup.1, R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 have meanings given in the description, which are useful as antagonists of neuropeptide Y and in particular in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, for example vasoconstriction.
