Abstract

Cosmetic or pharmaceutical preparations for protecting human skin or human hair from solar rays which contain PA0 a) from 0.1 to 10% by weight of one or more 1,3,5-triazine derivatives of the formula I, ##STR1## in which the substituents independently of one another have the following meanings: PA1 R.sup.1 to R.sup.3 PA1 are C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 -alkyl, aryl, heteroaryl, optionally substituted; PA1 X is O, NR.sup.4 ; PA1 R.sup.4 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 -alkyl, aryl, heteroaryl, optionally substituted, and PA0 b) from 0.1 to 15% by weight of zinc oxide.
