Abstract
The present invention is a photographic element having a support, at least one silver halide emulsion layer superposed on the support, at least one electrically conductive layer superposed on the support and a protective overcoat superposed on the support. The electrically conductive layer is composed of an electrically conductive agent and a binder. The protective overcoat includes a polyurethane having a tensile elongation to break of at least 50% and a Young's modulus measured at 2% elongation of at least 50,000 lb/in.sup.2 and an interpolymer comprising repeating units of A and B wherein A comprises a fluorine containing acrylate or a fluorine containing methacrylate monomer and B comprises an ethylenically unsaturated monomer containing hydratable groups.
