Abstract

Aminothiophenecarboxamides of the formula I ##STR1## and their physiologically acceptable salts, wherein PA1 R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, A and n have the meanings stated in claim 1, exhibit phosphodiesterase V inhibition and can be used for the treatment of diseases of the cardiovascular system and for the therapy of disturbances of potency.
