Abstract

Compounds of formula (I) ##STR1## where R.sub.1 is a C.sub.10 -C.sub.32 alkenyl group and R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are --(--OCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 --).sub.n OH, --(--OCH.sub.2 CHCH.sub.3 --).sub.n OH or --OCH.sub.2 CHOHCH.sub.2 OH in which n is an integer from 1 to 10 are lubricity and corrosion-prevention additives for fuels.
