Abstract

A description is given of compounds of the general formula I ##STR1## where PA1 Y is oxygen or sulfur, and PA1 R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently of one another are C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -alkenyl, unsubstituted or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy-, C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 -cycloalkyl-, --OH-- and/or Cl-substituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkyl, C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 -cycloalkyl, phenyl or C.sub.7 -C.sub.9 -phenylalkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted on the phenyl ring by C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy, C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 -cycloalkyl, --OH and/or Cl, and PA1 R.sub.3 is unsubstituted C.sub.9 -C.sub.18 -alkyl or is C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkyl substituted by --OH, C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -alkoxy, phenoxy, C.sub.6 -C.sub.8 -alkylphenoxy, C.sub.7 -C.sub.9 -alkoxyphenyl, --C.dbd.O(OR.sub.4) and/or --O--COR.sub.4, or is C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -alkenyl, C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 -cycloalkyl, or mono- to tri-OH--, --C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl-, --C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy-, --C.dbd.O(OR.sub.4)-- and/or --O--COR.sub.4 -substituted phenyl or naphthyl, and where PA1 R.sub.4 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -alkyl, which are suitable for stabilizing chlorine-containing polymers, especially PVC.
