Abstract
The present invention provides for the treatment of non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus or obesity comprising the systemic administration of a compound having the formula ##STR1## or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, wherein each R is H or NH.sub.2, and with the proviso that at least one R group must be NH.sub.2.
