Abstract

The present invention relates to processes for the production of cobalt(II) carbonates corresponding to the general formula Co[(OH).sub.2 ].sub.a [CO.sub.3 ].sub.1-a, cobalt(II) carbonates and cobalt(II) oxalate carbonates obtainable by the process and the use thereof.
