Abstract
This invention provides a means of inhibiting or preventing a disease or condition associated with an excess of neuropeptide Y which comprises administering to a mammal in need of such treatment an effective amount of a compound of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is a nitrogen containing heterocyclic compound.
