Abstract

An adjusting device for a push-pull rod (1) such as is used in motor vehicles between the gearshift lever and the tranmission. To achieve continuous length compensation, the invention uses a spring (4) to directly or indirectly effect clamping between the push-pull rod (1) and the housing of the adjusting device or a connector (6).
