Abstract

Flame-retardant thermoplastic molding materials containing PA0 A) at least one polyphenylene ether and PA0 B) at least one vinyl aromatic polymer, comprise PA0 C) as a flameproofing agent, a mixture of PA0 C.sub.1) at least one oligophosphonate or oligophosphate compound PA1 and PA0 C.sub.2) at least one phosphine oxide.
