Abstract
The molecular weight distribution of polytetrahydrofuran and copolymers of tetrahydrofuran with alkylene oxides is narrowed down by blending the polymers with a mixture of an alicyclic compound, methanol and water at a temperature ranging from 0-40.degree. C. The two phases formed are separated at 40-80.degree. C., and polymers with low molecular weight distributions are isolated therefrom.
