Abstract
In this process for working up RESH or shredder light fractions, the RESH or shredder light fractions are charged into a fluidized bed gasifier. Hot wind or combustion offgases having a temperature above 450.degree. C. are blown into the fluidized bed through nozzles while forming a counterflow grinding space. CaCO.sub.3 is introduced into the fluidized bed and calcined in the grinding space to effect disintegration.
