Abstract
The invention relates to spinning finishes containing a lubricant of improved biodegradability, the lubricant consisting of block copolyesters. The block copolyesters are produced from hydrophilic polyethylene glycols and hydrophobic diols selected from the group of polypropylene glycols, polytetrahydrofurans, polycaprolactone diols, hydrogenation products of ricinoleic acid esters, 1,2-alkanediols, .alpha.,.omega.-alkanediols and/or dimeric diols and dicarboxylic acids containing 2 to 36 carbon atoms connecting the blocks A) and B), anhydrides thereof, esters thereof with lower alcohols containing 1 to 8 carbon atoms and/or carbonic diesters of lower alcohols containing 1 to 8 carbon atoms.
