Abstract

The invention relates to an integrated optical device having an optical microguide (44) of index n.sub.0 between two media of respective refractive indices n.sub.1 and n'.sub.1, such that n.sub.1 <n.sub.0 and n'.sub.1 >n.sub.0, and filtering means (46, 48) constituted by at least one reflector element placed on at least one side of the microguide, the reflector elements having at least one element etched in layers of index n.sub.1 and/or n'.sub.1 and/or n.sub.0.
