Abstract

A method is provided for controlling weeds resistant to acetolactate synthase (ALS)-inhibiting herbicides that includes applying to the locus where control is desired a herbicidally effective amount of a compound of formula I ##STR1## wherein PA1 R.sub.1 is lower alkyl; PA1 R.sub.2 is CF.sub.3 ; and PA1 R.sub.3 is hydrogen or lower alkyl, or its agriculturally useful salts.
