Abstract
A method and composition for the treatment and/or prevention of stroke is disclosed using N-heterocyclic glyoxamide compounds having the following general formula: ##STR1## PA1 wherein X, E, F, R.sub.11, R.sub.12, R.sub.14, R.sub.15, R.sub.16 and R.sub.17 are as defined herein.
