Abstract
A transport system (10) for feeding or discharging goods to be conveyed at machining units (24) or node points (18-21) while passing through a speed profile (43) which, beginning at a basic speed (V.sub.1) other than zero, assumes a different speed (V.sub.3) and returns to the basic speed (V.sub.1) again.
