Abstract

Imino-substituted phenyl compounds of the formula I ##STR1## where the substituents have the following meanings: PA0 z is a group A or B ##STR2## PA0 where PA0 # denotes the bond with the phenyl ring and PA0 R.sup.a is halogen, alkyl or alkoxy; PA0 y is halogen, alkyl, haloalkyl or alkoxy; PA0 n is 0, 1 or 2, it being possible for the radicals Y to be different if n=2; PA0 R.sup.1 is halogen, haloalkyl or alkoxy; PA0 R.sup.2 is alkyl, haloalkyl, alkenyl, haloalkenyl, alkynyl or haloalkynyl; PA0 R.sup.3 is cyano, alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxy, cycloalkoxy, alkoxyalkyl; PA0 unsubstituted or substituted cycloalkyl, aryl, aryloxy or arylmethylene, heteroaryl, heterocyclyl, PA0 C(R.sup.3a).dbd.N--OR.sup.3b or C(R.sup.3a).dbd.CR.sup.3c R.sup.3d, where PA1 R.sup.3a, R.sup.3b, R.sup.3c, R.sup.3d independently of one another are hydrogen, alkyl or unsubstituted or substituted phenyl, processes for their preparation, and their use.
