Abstract

Phenylamidines of the formula (I) ##STR1## wherein: PA1 R.sub.6 is a C.sub.5-12 -alkyloxycarbonyl group, and PA1 R.sub.7 is a hydrogen atom, or a C.sub.1-8 -alkyl, C.sub.4-7 -cycloalkyl, phenyl-C.sub.1-4 -alkyl, or R.sub.8 --CO--OCHR.sub.9 -- group, wherein PA2 R.sub.8 is a C.sub.1-4 -alkyl, C.sub.1-4 -alkoxy, C.sub.3-7 -cycloalkyl, or C.sub.4-7 -cycloalkoxy group, and PA2 R.sub.9 is a hydrogen atom or a C.sub.1-4 -alkyl group, or a tautomer or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. These compounds inhibit cell aggregation and are useful for the treatment or prevention of thrombosis, inflammation, bone degradation, tumors and tumor metastasis.
