Abstract

Novel donor ligand substituted .eta..sup.5 -organyl chromium complexes which, in admixture with Lewis acids, such as methylaluminoxane, form highly active polymerization catalysts for .alpha.-alkenes and mixtures thereof and for mixtures of .alpha.-alkenes and unsaturated alkenes with a strained double bond.
