Abstract

Piperazine derivatives of the formula I ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 have the meanings given in claim 1 are dopamine ligands with a selectivity for the D4 receptor and are suitable for the treatment and prophylaxis of states of anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, obsessions, Parkinson's disease, tardive dyskinesia, nausea and disorders of the gastro-intestinal tract.
